Equity

In the area of sales, we provide high value-added information on investment target companies, supported by highly recognized macro-economic analysis by Daiwa Institute of Research and company research by analysts of Financial Research Center. We also arrange IR meetings for institutional investors to provide the opportunity of getting firsthand information from management on corporate strategy etc.
We are engaged in trading operations focused on best executions that satisfy the client’s trading needs by tapping the advanced execution system and considerable order flows, while providing highly sophisticated and customized trading schemes in response to diverse client needs.

Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC)

Our FICC division handles a broad array of products including Japanese government bonds, public and corporate bonds, along with Euro bonds, asset-backed securities, structured bonds incorporating derivative transactions, as well as currency/interest rate/equity/credit derivatives. We distribute such products to major institutional investors, public corporations, and business enterprises, among others, at home and abroad.
Furthermore, we have a research team consisting of four groups, fixed income research, macro-economic research, credit and investment strategy research. We provide the solution to the client’s asset management by conducting a portfolio analysis based on such research.
