Research

We established the Financial Research Center on August 24, 2009. The new center is staffed primarily by equity analysts and some strategists transferred from Daiwa Institute of Research. Forming this center provides a single organization for the analysts of Daiwa Institute of Research and our own fixed-income research operations (Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Research Dept., and investment strategy team of Global Product Planning Dept.). We will use this unified platform to enhance our ability to supply clients with valuable information and market insights.

Those analysts and strategists we received from Daiwa Institute of Research have an excellent reputation among institutional investors in Japan and overseas.

In fiscal 2008, this research institute was ranked first by Institutional Investor in the 2009 All-Japan Research Team survey.

With research teams in Europe, Asia and the United States, we support clients with analysis on a global scale.
